Well, I have access to a over 4-8 tb cloud as well, and instead of your cloud I also know that someone at least at some percent trustable hosts it. And I will hve soon access to another nextcloud with 8 tb, plus I have dropbox pro with 2 tb so I guess I'm fine.

I'm not sure if onward cloud is the way to go. If it works like nextcloud, be prepared that 1. These 9 TB is shared between you and all the people who register, so you easily can get something like 500 GB in the end. 2. The provider and main administrator of the cloud sees all the files you upload there.

Actually, from what I could find out about Nextcloud, the administrator can't just access your files at their own will, it has more security than that, its like how Apple or Microsoft or Dropbox can't just see your files on a whim.

that's not true. its on there server, the files are being uploaded to there server, then I'm asuming that if you have root on the server you can see the files being uploaded
