Dear Elten users!
We have decided to change the name of this portal and its Internet addresses. Below you will find the details.

1. As of October 24, 2020, the Elten Network portal will be renamed EltenLink.
2. New domains have been reserved for this portal:
* elten.link - project website,,
* elten.blog - blog space,
* elten.me - e-mail address space.
3. This means that blogs will change their addresses from
user.eltenblog.net
to
user.elten.blog,
while e-mail addresses will change from
user@elten-net.eu
to
user@elten.me.
The above changes will take effect on October 24th.
4. The existing blog and e-mail addresses will be maintained until August 24th 2021. This means that the address
user.eltenblog.net
will redirect to the address
user.elten.blog,
and e-mails sent to
user@elten-net.eu
will be forwarded to the user until the date indicated above.
5. At the address
elten.link
a new website of the portal will be created.
6. Due to address changes, the Elten versions below 2.4 will cease to work from January 1, 2021.

At the same time I would like to inform you that the funds collected so far will allow to maintain the functioning of the portal at least until August 26, 2021. Thank you very much to all who decided to support this initiative.

There was no voting on the new name, just an idea that I accepted.
You also had thread called "Should The Name Of This Program Be Changed?", created by you. And I also have read it.

I have never said that there was a voting, did I. It's just a matter of expressing our opinion as members of the English community. And concerning the name change, it was you who also who introduced this to the Polish community. To me, it doesn't matter what Elten 2.4 will be called.

you know, I would like the idea of an english translation here. even if you can't translate your webste fully to english, at least you can make it so that elten users can brouze your website with out much hassel, like a language combo box or something

So, in the first post, it is saide that elten versions below 2.4 will seace to work on January 1, 2021 but elten 2.4 will be released on january 24, 2021. What is your opinion about this?

Elten 2.4 is now planned to be released on January 24, 2021. If it changes, I will let you know in "Elten's future plans" thread. ;)
