Hello all.
Today I decided to create a new thread about this kind of things. Let's share an experience: programs, vst plugins, other tips which is related to mastering.
At this carantine time, I am learning music production by myself, recorded some covers, but what's it doesn't have is clear sound.
My microphone is blue yeti (condenser by the way), and to master the vocal and add some effect +cut/copy I'm using 5 audio editors: audacity, goldwave, sound forge 10, sound forge 12, cool edit pro 2.1.
To move on 1 editor which has all-in-one +extend with vst, I'm moving to reaper.
And then I have million and one options for mixing vocals (waves, izotope etc.) which some of them are inaccessible.
What vsts are you using?

Hi, I'm sorry if this is somehow against the rules, but I just want to point out that I have a groop about sound designing and music creating here on elten for a while. It's called sound designers and music composers, and I'll be glad to see more people there :D.
Back to your question...
I really like to compress the shit from all my production, so OTT is needed... :D
I never mixed a song with nonedited vocals, nor I didn't even record / inprove any vocal tracks, but I'll be glad to make an actuall song with some vocalist / vocalists, mg that'll be a realy new experience for me...
