They said upon moving the release to october 24 that his computer was broen, but maybe the repairs are taking to long or something.
But let me be clear. If I were him, I would not promis a release date. I would tell the people that therelease date was moved to an unknown date due to problems which are out of my control etc.
I am doubtful that elten will be released on the promised date. I my opinion it is highly likely that it will be moved forward once more

Pajper just got himself a new laptop. This will make it possible again to resume the testing and the continuation to build Elten 2.4.

Here is a little bit more news about Elten 2.4:
We are now approaching the final stages of the testing of Elten 2.4.
Lately, we have been testing the conferencing call and things are progressing very well. There will also be a mixed written and voice forum. Also the blogs have been changed and for those that are using the NVDA screen reader, a special Elten NVDA add on has been built.
On January 24, or perhaps earlier, the first RC of Elten 2.4 will be released. If all things work well, and there are not too many problems, the final version of Elten 2.4 will be released and be accompanieed with a new Help menu; and there will also be a big surprise for all former Klango users!
Also, a new forum thread will be created in this group where you will be able to mention all your bugs and problems, if any.

Glad there's some news. I first thought nothing was happening at all, since this group has been so quiet. But I guess a lot has been happening behind the sceens.
