This could have something to do with the fire wall of your antivirus program. I don't have this problem and I am using the same, Windows 10 64. Be sure to use the key combination Alt Control shift T to return to the Elten client.

I don't think it's got to do anything with the firewall. It's not blocking it. It, however, is kind of fixed. But the server still gives errors upon refreshing and fetching new data.

No idea if anyone else has this issue, but my clock settings do not appear to save. For example, if I turn clock announcements to every hour, it sometimes will not save that

Just be sure that, when you make a change, that you first press the apply button and then the Save button. I made the changes and there is no problem here.

I can make changes by pressing save without apply, but it sounds like the program acts differently for different folks.

I just tried the notes feature again and I currently don't have any notes. I was expecting to find an option called "new note" in the context menu, but there wasn't. There really doesn't seem to be a way to create a new one.

hello. this is Conner. I am a new,ish, user of this app, and I love it. how ever, in this new update, i am seeing a bug. when ever you try to delete a message thread, spasificly a private message conversation, i get the following trace back. ELTEN dialog Script 'Messages{scenes}' line 429: NoMethodError occurred.

undefined method `[]' for nil:NilClass. 2 out of 3 times, it will evinchually delete the conversation, how ever that error will come up 3 out of 3 times and the application will crash.

Do you consider bringing support for other screen readers? They appear to have been discontinued, but you may consider providing support for screen readers like Cobra, Dolphin, Window Eyes and Thunder. This may sound weird but I've just decided to give this Thunder thing a try and noticed that it is way more responsive than NVDA, let alone JAWS. And I would also like to ask whether Elten supports System Access and Narrator.

Hi all,
There is a bug with typing spanish acute letters they are typed as the separate acute letter and the letter that should be accented.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Switch to spanish keyboard while editting a post.
2. Type the accented letter.
Expected result:
There should be 1 accented letter, like a acute. E acute. ETC.
Actual result:
The letters are separated.
The acute symbol and the letter that is accented shouldn't be separate.

accented letters should be fixed! really!
i can explain, as a programmer, how to fix this bug!
when you type the spanish acute symbol, and then vowel letters like e, a, o or u, it automatically makes the letter accented. like a acute, o acute, i acute.
i suggest to do like this.
everytime when the loop with the edit box updates,, when it sees that you typed the acute symbol and then a, o, u, or i, it automatically replaces it to a-acute, o-acute or other symbol. try it with spanish keyboard.
