Hi.
I'd like to find out what instruments you can play. But of course not only that. You can write about how long have you been playing, do you play it as a hobby or maybe as your job, what type or model of this instrument you own.
I can start and tell you that I play drums. I have been playing since 10 years now and I have electronic drumkid at home. It is drumkid from Polish maker, this brand is called digdrum and I'm using roland td4 sound module. I also had been learnet to play piano for a few years and I play keyboard sometimes. I bought roland fa06 workstation and I've been learning to use it since then. :d

OK, now it's your turn.

I play the piano. More as a hobby. Played it since I was a kid. Can't tell you what sort of brand or model piano it is.

I play piano and other such keyboards. I was a professional musician but spent most of my time looking for steady work, so I also learned piano tuning. I currently have a Yamaha P115 digital piano. In the past I owned, and loved, the Yamaha PSR3000 workstation. Some things were inaccessible, sadly, but I made some pretty good stuff using that one.

I also play some stringed instruments, guitar, not much now due to an injury to my left hand, violin, banjo and others. I have a regular-sized ukulele. I was given a really nice violin by a generous friend and play it, only seldom.

Ah yes, hmm I thought there's already my music thread, so why don't post there? But yeah, I see, more specifically instruments. Ok then. Well, I can play anything with piano keys, and I also have my own way of playing the harp. Besides that, I play recorder and mouth organ. I have a yamaha digital piano at home, and also a real one, but I can't tell you the model. I also don't know from which brand my real piano is. And yes, anything with piano keys includes the piano accordion too. I actually have lessons since 12 years or so, so I know pretty well how to play it. Same goes for piano. I also have perfect pitch. That's a slightly different topic though. Anyway, it all started when I was two. Back then, we had this very cheap, loud toy piano. You could literally play it, but the sound was very loud and artificial. Anyway, I was already able to play very simple tunes on it, and then, not long after that, we got the yamaha clavinova. And, from what I seem to recall from what my parents told me, I started piano lessons with 3, so I play the piano for 15 years! You could really say I was born with musical talent. O I also have a yamaha psr-s650 keyboard, and I love it. There are really realistic sounds on there. The psr-s775 is even better, but I can do all right with that one. There are some extras on that model I don't need. Some of the voices just sound better though. Anyway, that's it from me for now.

Well I have perfect pitch, and yet, when I tune my harp to a major, I always play a 440 hz sawwave tone and tune that string which should be that a to that, and then the rest by ear. I mean, I have a rough imagination, but that might be off a few cents, so that's where I do it like folks with relative pitch do and use a reference tone. Sometimes, if I'm too lazy to get the laptop to where the harp is, I just make sure it's in tune with itself.

I usually reference middle C or the one above. I was taught piano tuning and that's what my tuning fork was, an octave above middle C.

Ah well, back to topic I reckon, smiles.

Well yeah. Let's see what others have to say about instruments. I already said everything there is to say about my skills.

Clavinova? Haven't seen one of those in years. I used to go to a music shop many years ago. The shop had one, and I was allowed to play on it. It was fun. I've often wondered what the difference is between a clavinova and a keyboard?

A Clavinova is a keyboard. That is just what Yamaha calls certain models of its keyboards. They are usually not as portable as a workstation, but then that depends on the workstation too.

The CVP70 I used to have was probably the most accessible of those, though the CVP75 had some better-quality voices, or instruments. Yamaha calls them voices.

yes, and I think they, at least mostly, have solid piano keys like a real piano, and also the 88 keys.

You're right. My digital piano also has the weighted keys, really good feel. On two of the organ sounds, the left, or soft, pedal changes the speed of the simulated rotor speaker, which is rather nice.

Hello. I can play flute, tinwhistle, ocarina and sometimes drums. Unfortunately, I did it as a hobby but now I don't have enough time to play. When I started to prepare for lawyers exam, I had to stop practicing them cause the huge amount of information. When I was a student, I had a band and it was fun. We had nice concerts. We were 4 members. I am not sure if I can start to play again cause I passed that exam. Working as a lawyer takes allot of time.
