Welcome everyone.
I am not a big fan of creating such threads, but I guess sometimes enough is enough.
I would like to address a few issues regarding this English forum.
It seems that people are keep creating threads such as problem with this, problem with that, when there already is such topic, called problems.
I'm talking about voice forum, since it mainly occurs there.
I also have one user in particular posting a hundred messages saying:
Yes, huh, oh, how do you mean?
I had to delete many of those.
Many times i try to contact, or explain to people that all this is not acceptable, but some do not seem to bother.
Now, let me just say that this is not Klango.
Here, moderators take care, and want the well being of forums.
This means, i will be strict about these, and any other regulations.
If people will still create an introduction for every new person, if they will constantly spam, talking about nothing, if i will see anymore huh, oh, how do you mean, i will not be happy, and proper action will be taken.
Such behaviour is not tolerated, and I will not accept it.
The people who do not do what i mentioned above or the ones who carefully read the rules, I would like to thank you for making the Elten grow and expand with you alongside.
If any have any questions, or issues, feel free to contact me, the moderator of the English forum, or alternatively Nuno69.
If there is an issue regarding elten, but not the forums, you might want to direct your complaints to the developer of Elten.
Regards, Dj Senter

@Senter.
One topic about problems makes no sense.
I recommend doing other topics to ask about problems because search reply in big topics is problematic. :D
On Polish forum all problems have separate topics.

I really commend you for your prompt action. If people don't know how to write propperly in a forum, they better leave this platform and go to Facebook.
Keep up the good work!

I mainly want people to understand where i'm coming fro, rather than leave the platform, but yeah, thank you!

Hmm, there's something wrong there with that forum. In your "Problems" thread you say any problem with "Elten" can be posted here, although you actually meant this topic to be for all sorts of problems in general. Oddly enough, there's yet another thread called "bugs and suggestions". So now what? Also, I agree with Dash, I would also prefer separate topics for problems to make searching easier. Sorry if this sounds provocative to you, I don't mean to. I'm just noticing.

The guy who posts the short how do you mean things isn't a native speaker of English. I know that can't be helped and probably neither can his grammar. Ah well.

Such a person shouldn't use such a network then. I'm also a non native speaker and I'm way better in English than him, in gramar, and vocabulary probably too. I also find that such posts are annoying. Either this person should see about learning how to formulate in a more comprehensive language, or post only in his language community. I happen to know that he is hungarian, and unfortunately, there isn't a hungarian forum in Elten yet. It's very difficult.

Yep, unfortunate indeed. I'd never try to post in, say, the German forum, but that's just me. I agree that he shouldn't post in forums he doesn't speak well enough in for sure.

Allright then.
I agree, maybe I went too far regarding the problems threads.
Now, i would like to say, I understand that some people are trying to learn English, and when they have conversations with native, or non-native speakers like me or Hozosh, but that isn't the way to go.
If anyone would like to teach alanguage, they can do so privately.
As much as i have nothing against the guy, some order needs to be in place on this forum.
Posts such as oh, ahh, howdo u mean can not be tolerated.
You know how much i have to delete, because it doesn't even have any links with the posts above or below?
Please understand me, and encourage new people to read some rules or guide, before they start doing what they do

Yeah right. That's what I'm saying, just stop posting, or never do it in the first place, when you don't speak a language too well.

11 z 25: railwayguy

That's right. And then there are those people that just create a forum post with just the word, "Okay". It's better then that they say for instance, "Thanks".

A language doesn't have to be perfect though. As long as it's understandable it's fine. That can apply to anyone.

10.01.2019 23:33

13 z 25: hozosch

Ah yes, people like dash for example. Their English isn't perfect but it's definitely understandable. Mind you, that hungarian guy just beats them all, if you see what I mean.

14 z 25: djsenter

haha, true, he does.
ANd that is the main point.
As much as Louisa is right, there are boundaries.

Of course there are boundaries, but judging someone on grammer alone, doesn't make sense to me. There are other reasons why a person would get band

Nothing like what you think.
It's about the amount a perso says oh, yeah, how do you mean, or such repeteadly, even if sometimes it doesn't even need to be there

Yeah, it's strange. That shows he isn't good enough at English, often preventing him from grasping what people are saying. Sometimes, it's just not connected with anything too, like djsenter's saying. And that leads to what I was saying in my post two days ago.

I would agree that user's stuff is at best spam. If it's done diliberatly, I don't know. The remark on grammer was ment in general.

12.01.2019 22:30

19 z 25: daszekmdn

I also don't have good grammar.
I understand questions for example "What you say?" if author writing words not correctly. Synthesizers in other languages than English have problems with not correct spelling.

Well it's true. I can't stand it either when people are just creating forum posts with just the words, "Euh, Okay, Great and so on. I think that's it is best that such persons who have the habit to do so, should be told this in a friendly personal message to stop creating such forum posts with just one word in it.
Also, I'm willing to help out the moderator who is able to remove such forum posts, there where needed.
