Hello everyone,

We (as Firegaming) are happy to announce that we will be streaming our new game, titled "City of Division," which has been our focus over the past 1.5 years. It is A tactical 3d first person shooter, with an interesting storyline that you can unlock and many environmental structures for you to explore.
City of Division is a multi player game, which offers many unique features that haven't yet been seen in audio games.
The tactical and interesting fights aside, it also features a skill system, destructable objects such as windows, and object looting.
Also, there is no tracking, which makes the fighting even more exciting. But there are other ways to find players close to you.

During the stream, we will show you some life gameplay and answer any question you may have regarding the game.

If seriously though, the game sounds promising. I don't really get the difference between this and other shooters yet, but I guess the video will explain everything.

The game hasn't been released yet. The stream is just A showcase. And at least for now, there is no mouse support, since that would make it to hard to even predict the angles someone could shoot from.

Okay, so this might sound kinda bitchi, but don't overhype yourselves now. I am indeed very interested how this will run later, after only 2 beta sessions. if we will have the same bugs we always had, if the input is as sucky as in every py aplication...
If the server, and in general the map structure can handle more than 10 players, Since you sometimes even spawn next to one. If the server still runs stable after 2 weeks since the beta tests where only 4 days or so. Ug could go on for ages...
But yup, don't wanna come over as I would just blame everything so we'll see :)

Yeah, totaly agreed. Also, probably won't make it until friday, but I know enough so I can probs just play when it is being released. My observation is too that your server changed, since our clients are probably incompatible, regardless of whether beta sessions, which nobody I asked liked the concept of, are going on or not.

lol dude? I'm allowed to criticise things and write down my thoughts. Ya guys are also not even able to answer, you just try to dodge everything we say in any form. But its good you say something without even knowing anything about the game. Me and Marc at least are beta members so we have a little bit knowledge about what we are talking, thanks.

Did you discuss these issues with them privately? Otherwise seems kinda dickish to only bring it up at it's announcement. Also from what I'm gathering this is just a demo, not the full release so there's a ppossibility of more testing later onn.
@OP, sounds interesting. I see a few eat goodies that I'd be eager to try out when the time is right. My friend beta tested it and he said he enjoyed it and said y'all were quite receptive to feedback. So looking forward to seeing what you put out.

@14 there is (in fact) nothing wrong with the server. The problems that were raised were as far as i know mainly due to you switching comp or something like that. And about the beta, i already explaned to Jonathan privately.
And @15, Indeed, it's only a demo. And they kind of did discuss it privately, but yeah they (for some reason) need to bring it up yet again, which in my oppinion is a little unnecessary.

Regarding the server. I'm not a beta member and never will be, but it sounds freaking similar to FH being horribly slow when downloading updates. It's also being written in python so yeah, I don't even want to imagine what is goin to be with these games when 100 players try to connect. I'm not saying city of division will be bad or anything, but the problem that Jonathan and Marc talk about, sounds too similar.

@18 Well, the problem they're talking about is not a problem at all, not sure what they are attempting to do or say here. Besides, they can't even know. And, as far as i know, there is no problem with our server, or the game's server itself.
Anyways, personally i would think it's better to not try to predict certain things, if somebody is not able to know those particoular things for sure. That is not necessary and it won't add anything. Just await it and we'll see how things go.

Glad that everyone considers a problem different. Sure, if something works for you it is not a problem. I understand the concepts of beeing egoistic my friend. Besides again I would like to mention that there where more people besides me and Marc, and that we have had our conversations in private about this already. But yes, we'll wait for the next beta session which will force us to play on 3 days I probably won't have time to test all new amazing features you added and then just chill again months without any info. Thank you. Whatever it makes no sence at all. We should just give up the pointless talking, since noone will accept/understand the other side anyway. Lets see what the future of this game will bring.
