Wątek: Asking for advice on a good and accessible note taking system or app

Hi there!
I am looking for a good and accessible note-taking program.
And I hope you could recommend something interesting.

What I expect from a note-taking application:
1. It should start up lightning fast;
2. It should allow me to just open and write immediately without wasting my time creating a new file or searching for a folder to write in;
3. It should save my thoughts very often, so that I can just write, close, and forget until I need them again, without having to press the "save" button or choose a good name or do anything else;
4. Good, but not essential, it could have an ability to sync its data with some free cloud or support some google drive or other cloud storage. Storing all data in a folder that can be synchronized with third party software is also okay;
5. Good but not essential, it should have some kind of encryption with a password or a physical key;
6. Good but not essential, it should also support mobile devices, preferably with some kind of voice annotation or transcription of voice annotations to text.

It is important that I am willing to build such a system with multiple components, not just all in one app.

Google Keep has some of these features, but it doesn't have a desktop application, only a web version that takes time to open and isn't as fast and convenient as a desktop application.
Obsidian has a lot of cool features, but it is not as accessible to be comfortable to use, especially on mobile platforms.
Apple Notes is really cool but it is only for Apple devices and my phone is Android and my PC is not a Mac.

But couldn't you write your own as a programmist? It'd be suited just for you.

You're absolutely right.
But it will take lots of time and resources, probably an year or even more.
I know how to write backends, I know how to write Telegram and Discord bots but I know nearly nothing about android applications.
If I use iOS it would be easier for me but I do not use iPhone and so cannot write such an app for myself.
So yes, learning Kotlin or java, developing an application for desktop and android, implementing some backend, adding features.
I guess I will faster find some ready solution rather than successfully create my own one.

This was a simple question asking for such a program. If there isn't anything like this, I'm sure he would write his version. :) I guess the question was exactly to know if such a thing has been already written or not. Plus don't forget the fact, that for a massive project like this, you don't need to only be a programmer, but a backend and frontend developer at the same time. You must understand the way programs for windows work, as well as you must know development for android, iOS, and so on. You must understand how synchronization works, the way a program works in the background. It takes up a lot of resources, as well as time to develop something like this. It's possible though, that someone might have already wished for an app like this, so wrote one.

Yeah I doubt something like what you want exists already. Would be awesome if you did make it yourself though, I'm sure it would gain a lot of traction if you published it. I believe Notepad 2 is openn source, but that's for PC and even then I'm not sure of the licennse.
