Hi guys, I was just wondering a few hours ago about which kenwood ham radio would be best. I heard all, if not most, have installable voice modules, and most can tune up to the 6 m band (50-54 mhz) and some can even tune to 70 cm (420-450 mhz). I was wondering, if anyone here knows, which one is more accessible. I'm not trying to spend 4000 dollars which is the price of one in particular I forget, but otherwize you can tell me recommendations.

Hey!
I never used kenwood stuff and cannot tell anything about their accessibility but the price scaries.
Consider choosing some Baofeng dm-1701 or baofeng dm-1801.
Flash them with a opengd77 firmware and get a fully accessible radio just for 100 dollars or so.
