So I have in ear headphones (cable) from JBL for my school laptop, but when I play audio games the panning of left and right audio channels is horrible. Is there any way to change, adjust, what ever such settings? Because I beliefe with my headphone at home it somehow worked.

Have you tried going into more advanced audio settings under sound settings and adjust the left vs. Right ear volume balance there? It might help. Especially since some devices can be adjusted incorrectly, I had that with a laptop once when it after ages in a certain inverval of like 6 months decided to mess up my audio balance so I was only able to hear things from the left.
Miracles happen. The question though, is when...

hmm, where can I find it? Since this laptop is in german I can't find these settings under sound einstellungen. Do you mean mmsys.cpl or?

go to: controlpanel/sound/playback settings, choose your headset in the list and go to propertices, find the levels tab, go by tab button an find "balance" and set the values manually l for the left and r for the right, then press ok also press ok in sound window then reconnect, if nothing changed, restart your pc and headphone.
I'm sure, the problem will be solved.
