NVDA and Jaws always used checkboxes and I suppose it's also used in WCAG standards; if not, in some official documents, anyway. I've never heard "Thickbox" and even don't know if wrote it correctly, so... xd

Hmm, someone here on this forum corrected me that tickbox is a more proper form. I'm not an english expert, so I believed.

Use Markdown in this post ... Checkbox unticked.
It should be unchecked I think. Makes more sense on a checkbox.

That example is kinda explained above isn't it? We've all said how it should be and it used to be that long before but now pajper doesn't wanna change it anymore. O wait I just noticed. He changed it to checkbox but still ticked and unticked. Yeah ok so he forgot 1 of those things.
