Wątek: A suggestion for the YouTube program for elten

Greetings,

So I was using the YouTube client for Elten the other day to look up some video or other. I've a suggestion for the program that should make it a bit more efficient to use.

What I'd loveot see happen is that when you hit enter on a video, it selects the play option by default so that you wouldn't have to select it from a menu. There could also be a hotkey for actually downloading the video to your system, say, control+D. I'm not sure if this could be done, but it's an idea.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this, but I figured since it delt with elten programs, which are obviously extentions to elten inand of itself, it'd be safe to put this suggestion here. If it's not, remove this topic, give me a warning or whatever is necessary and go about your day as if nothing happened.

I think you're good? But it could always be in the elten dev group too. About your suggestion, personally think that it's fine with a menu. i mean pressing enter once or twice really is not making a big difference. Plus I even think when you go into the vid and press escape it copies the link. That is kinda stupid sometimes but I think those hotkeys are something very easy.
People are complicated. This keeps getting prooven over and over and goes to a point where it makes no sense anymore.

I'd say have these options available from the context menufor those who prefer that then, and for those who just want toplaythevideo with enter like myself, we could theoretically have that option. Whether it'll happen is another matter entirely though.

I would rather like it if you could press space to play like in the file manager, because if I want to just browse trough some to find out the right one, it'll be more comfortable.

Yeah, I could see space being useful. Perhaps an option to use either space or enter to play then?

But how will you brows the youtube videos if they need to load before playing? in file manager it would be faster to load to play

Yea, I see that, but then you still would be a bit faster and could just press arrow down and space again, IKR they have to load like a few seconds, but nothing you could change.
