Hi everyone,
So I decided to reinstall my system to factory defaults, do to me having some problems with the pc and well, what to say? My mic, which some of you may know, which had very good quality, now sounds like some bad 2010 laptop mic and I searched a little in the sound settings but found no single fix for it. Can anyone help?

As much as I've heard your microphone, it sounds like HP. If not, correct me, but I have a feeling your drivers are messing around with you.
Try removing Realtek audio and instead of it, install a simple High definition. If it doesn't help, high definition has an own control panel, in which it's possible to turn off enhancements.

well also make sure that you don't have any noise reductions, and better install drivers from Asus website.

Oh yes asus. I had the same problem with my Asus and then sadly I'm definitely right. Uninstall your realtek audio drivers and find a basic high definitions one. Once you're ready, double check in the control panel of the driver itself that enhancements are turned off.

did you tried to disable enchancements? If not check my instructions below:
Press ctrl+R, then write mmsys.cpl and press enter. Now go to the recording tab, select your microphone and go to enchancements tab. If it not exist, try find something like "Disable all enchancements" in advanced tab.
If you have realtek, you can also try to check things in their manager which you can find if i remember correcttly in the control panel. Probably it will be accessible.
