Hey there.
Don't know if my obserwations are correct, but I noticed some group of traditional console gamers out there. Sorry for my crappy english in advance. :D
I would like to know, what it is when it comes to - especially genre-specified choosing of platform. I mainly play racing games, some platforms, shooters and the fight games - (all of the main stream ones in that genre). I'm used to playstation's pads instead the X-box ones, and the arcade sticks are multi-platform).
Which console is better to choose when it comes to these genres of games? Don't forget the factors like affordability, accessibility functions, reliability and subscribtion plans.

go for xbox because you can get game pass and it comes with xbox live and EA play wich has over like 100000 games or mor

I think that xbox is your choice. It has forza series, those are racing games, and it has killer instinct, that's the fighting game. Play station do not have these, and do not have any interesting Exclusives in genres that you interested, plus the xbox's gamepass subscription is a killer feature, which allows to play a lot of greate games and try something new without buying it

Not sure about all, but I think that ps and xbox have the same amount of games, never herd that ps or xbox have or had an Exclusive street fighter game or any fighting from namco

I am in the gamepass library right now and I think that this site is not intuitive in any case. The sony libraries are more organised and intuitive by the first glance. That's a choice for next couple of years, so I don't want to choose wrong and during all my console tests the PS performed much better. The subscribtion plans are also - maybe not similar, but PS+ seems reasonably priced for what it offers.

I am browsing the tournament requirements for fight games and the official console in fighting games tournaments is PS5 which is a big hint.

So, if you are searching for fighting games, the Mortal Kombat games are a good choice.
You can get them for Playstation and Xbox.
For the accessibility, you cant do anything wrong with the Xbox ore PS5, so you can choose what you like more.

I am used to Playstation devices - from the first and second gen (I skipped 3 and 4) and now I'd like to try out the latest one and check out these accessibility functions - at least on the interface, because I'm partially sighted and don't need accessibility hints in games. It makes a lot of distraction.

play stations controlers are better especially for the ps 5 versis xbox, and ps5 or 4's screen reader is very nice. I can say this I've played on both.

That problem does not bother me anymore, because after days of reading which console is better and why my brain started boiling. :D Eventually - I ordered a custom PC ON AM5 platform - both Ryzen 7 And Radeon with 12 gb of v-RAM. Pretty solid, liquid cooled setup with 10 tb of storage in total and futureproof ATX 3.0. I don't have that problem now if this or that game is available for this or that console. :D Both Devices are great - I don't mind it, but I would choose playstation for its controller as well.
I'd buy an arcade stick first and maybe playstation controller for other types of games too, because I prefer using controllers instead of keyboard and mouse in games. ;)
But I would leave this topic open for further discussion, because I think it's worth it. ;)
