Bow down before me, for I hold all sway,

avast is your best option. It works really well with screenreaders and has an easy to use interface.

esed nod32 was good, too, but I'm not sure about it now. Personally I use windows security (aka windows defender)

Use brain. This application costs nothing but a good thought, and is available for almost every possible danger in live, no matter which operating system you are running.

Brain has better protection against some things, but most of the time it can't see surprise attacks coming since it's not scannin the computer all the time. True that t is free and being used all the time in the background for some, you need more than brain in the real world.
Anything can work. Just decide how much, or what you would like to subject for said thing to work.

Agreed with @aldenmaster, I don't have any antivirus, just scanning my pc sometimes and that's it.

orry if it sounded like I don't use an antivirus, I do. I didn't for a while, then learned the hard way that one is required in the modern age. I got a nasty case of grenam and jefo, both of which deleted and corrupted exe files, among other things. I use windows defender and it works just fine now.don't have any antivirus, just scanning myS pc sometimes and that's it.

avast all the way! was their accessibility tester for a year or so and we fixed most of the bugs.
When you're stuck, just try harder.

The problem is already not with accessibility, but the fact that it signs a lot of stuff as a virus that's absolutely not true. I still remember when I couldn't open youtube because avast was dingdingding at me and said hahh, you won't open this, ever.

Avast is slowing down computers, so badly. Use windows defender and adguard in combination. It will solve your problems.Of course, use your brain, too!

None of you guys remember the fact that Avast got into hot water and had to close down jumpshot, a highly contravertial advertising company. It logged all kinds of stuff it shouldn't have. So don't tell me that Avast is a good antivirus.

Yeah, installed it and it rmoved my appdata, all of it. I had to reinstall Windows because I didn't really know what I was doing at the time.
