Wątek: Let's talk: are we really this kind of insane?

This topic was inspired by another topicc I read on a different forum a few minutes before creating this one. Because of exactly this reason, the topic might contain strong personal opinions and feelings about the situation overall.
I don't want it to turn to a huge drama, what I am seeking is your opinions, nothing more.

The statement is the following. There are some members in our community who condemn all blind people, even if they are members of the so said community themselves.
There has been a topic about a game recently, not here, but somewhere else. The creator of the thread didn't mention the game itself, but some people asked for details. The original poster said he doesn't want quote, stupid blindies quote end enter and poison the community there, because he likes the game and he doesn't want blindy drama here. At the same time, he begs other blind players to buy him games just because why not, and at that time he doesn't have any problems. This particular person also maintains soundpacks for several muds, which he refuses giving to anyone because again, stupid blindies would poison his precious community.
On the other hand, I've seen this person on several muds talking just on the same level of intelligence as he describes "poisonous" or "blindy stuff."
This is not the first time I'm seeing such stuff happening, that is why I feel the need to talk about it.
This explanation wasn't made to shit on a particular person or a group of people. I intentionally didn't mention the place from where this is coming from, as well as you cannot be sure if I used the right pronouns for mentioning the person. Anyone who's familiar with the situation, will sadly recognise them though.
The questions are the following, but of course, any thoughts are welcome.
1. What do you think, is this a correct behavyor at all?
2. What do you think, are we somewhat "poisonous" on most games? Sighted folks can be just as bad as us, just because we are blind people, that doesn't mean we are the drama kings / queens.
3. Does ego play a huge role in this situation at all? Who would be so self-centered to say only they are so said "normal, drama free" people, but all the other blindies are shitshow makers; but at the same time they are the ones who hold a helping hand when needed?
4. What do sighted folks think about us when we enter a game which mainly they play? Do you think they are this kind of serious about us just because we can't see? This whole situation seems to me as if sighted people thought we were a different race of somesort.

To be honest, I'm very curious about all of your opinions. I've already discussed this with a good friend of mine, who, I think, was too enraged to form a well based and morally correct opinion, but from a side I totally understood his rage.

Hi, I'll try and answer some of this. I think it has a lot to do with feelihng insecure. The people have to show off, and make a huge point so that they can feel better about themselves. As to what can be done about it, I don't know. As to what sighted people think, I just know the whole point, that says how remarkable we are and how wonderful we are, that we can do, what we do, ETC. Or the other extreme when people don't know how to deal with you. I don't know much about the gaming side of things. Sorry if I rambled a bit.
