hello.
when you are in a text box, you press ctrl+f, the search function doesn't work.
when i tried for searching literary for a string, it works.
but i tried to search for a pattern [a-zA-Z]*:[a-zA-Z]:[0-9] and it didn't work

or maybe i am doing something wrong? do i need to put some marks before and after the pattern?

If you are using notepad, the cursor must be at a point before your specified string.

he's very likely not talking about notepad, this is a thread in the elten comunity
People are complicated. This keeps getting prooven over and over and goes to a point where it makes no sense anymore.

i say about regex searching in elten. when you search with a regular expression, it doesn't work like that.
