Hello guys,
I'm wondering if there's a way to create a self extracting archive (.exe) file with 7-Zip. I've gotten files like this but never looked at creating self extracting archives.
Thanks

1. Right click on what you want to archive.
2. Press 7 to bring up the 7-zip submenu.
3. Click add to archive.
4. Press Alt + X.
5. Press Enter.

Yeah. You must check the create an sfx archive option when creating an archive.

Additional note: the unlabelled button in the archive dialog is a browse button. It will allow you to decide where you want to save the archive file if you don't like the default location, which is typically the same folder as the items that are to be added to the archive.

you can also make self extracting archive that runs a self extracting archive inside that runs one more self extracting archive, and like that many times. it is a 7zip bomb!
