hello fellow elton community. i really would like to ask for some advice on something. i am really, really looking into making money for myself. i am 16, and am very intrested in looking for a job in tech. i've been told to sign up for DVR, but i'm not sure what to do for that. also, what tech jobs can a blind person do accessibillity?

I don't mean to offend you. I could write an elaborate post on where you could try finding a job, but if you cannot spell then well... you cannot do technical writing, you cannot do development so what else?

Your best bet would be freelance programming in this age. This way, you don't have to mess with stuff like employment agreements, ETC. You can also try Tester Work, however they require clear debugging procedures so yeah, spelling.

If you are freelancing, you are going to need either an amazing portfolio, or paperwork that shows you've been an exemplary student at the university of somewhere reputable. You are also going to run up against the problem where people are less likely to hire someone who is sighted over someone who is blind. And yeah, being able to do proper grammar is extremely important, even if you want to do sound designing.

That, and you're technically still a child. There might be some limitations in your country that prevent you from getting jobs in certain fields, working in certain ways, earning money etc.
