hello. I'll try to tell all my thoughts, but my English is not so good, and i hope that you will be able to understand my minds.
I don't know why everyone hates Abby. I really like her in turms of gameplay. Elly's was not so diverse. These scenes on a Seraphites  island when the WLFs started a war, when Abby and lev was in search of medical equipment to help Yara, and thats all events was nice.
And in turms of moral, or don't know how it called properly, Abby was in her rights to avenge and kill Joel because he killed her father, More over in this postapocaliptic world, where noone can judge her for this thing. Yeah, this scene was hard to watch and I don't know why she couldn't just shot him and why this cruelty was needed. But Elly is not better than Abby. She also started to avenge, she killed all Abby's frend, and Nora was killed so cruel as joel. And Abby even didn't kill Elly when she had two possibilities to do it.
Players says: you can't kill a guy which we started to love in first game so easy! Its hard to lose a character which you started to love and even played as him the first game, but really. This thing wark as in real life: you can not predict when and how your frends or relatives will die. And this twist that Joel died is a good reminder of that.
Hope that i was able to explain my feelings about all this things.
