I've been coming across threads and posts on the iPhone scattered around. There are a few groups for iPhone users but they don't appear to be active. Why not make a new one or revive an existing one? Or Why not make this thread where everyone shares their questions on the iPhone? So on with the questions...
I have an iPhone SE (2nd generation) with the iOS 16 public beta installed on it. I plan to buy a new iPhone soon, and want to know
1. whether the iPhones without a home button are convenient or not,
2. whether I can transfer all my data without any problems to the new iPhone which will likely be running iOS 15.5
3. whether I can access well-organized and reliable information on how the different iPhone models record or capture sound, like microphone comparisons
4. whether the novelty voices will sing on the iOS

And here's a suggestion that I forgot to make in my first post: Since Apple is often criticized for not paying much attention to user feedback and platforms like Applevis or Elten might be good places for us to share our suggestions and offer them to Apple together, we should probably act together so our voice can be heard more easily. One single e-mail by a visually-impaired user talking about his/her problems may be ignored but we may draw more attention if we emphasize we're a community and share similar opinions as a significant portion of Apple's customers. By the way, I had some JavaScript problem when trying to make an Applevis account so some help would be greatly appreciated.

iOS 15.6 is the latest. I had some problems getting my data from the old 6S I inherited. I did it through iCloud. You shouldn't have the same problems I did I wouldn't think. It takes some getting used to, the gestures that replaced the home button, but you should pick them up in time. I was up and running in a couple of days, and I got more competent as quickly as my wife did, maybe slightly quicker.

Right, I was already unsure it was 15.5.
I plan to transfer the data directly from the old iPhone to the new one.

I have no issues with the home gestures. I find it to take the same ammount of tim as the home button. Control center is even faster because you don't have to know where an icon in the control center is. Just do the home gesture, just from the top. I've been using them for two years and have no issues.
Anything can work. Just decide how much, or what you would like to subject for said thing to work.

Yes, but for whatever reason that gesture doesn't like to work. I think it is just the way that I do it causes it to misfire. But I guess so.
Anything can work. Just decide how much, or what you would like to subject for said thing to work.

Note that iOS 16.1 public beta 3 is out already, but I am still using iOS 16.0, as it is more stable, and I don't want to download over 4GB only to be disappointed to realize that none of the problems I have reported, were fixed. And if some have been fixed, I will already know that when I update to iOS 16.1.
