Pajper has made a couple of remarks and statistics in how we did with Elten in 2021. Here are his comments:

pajper ... Text: Another year is coming to an end. So I invite you to a little retrospective and remember what happened to us on Elten. Above all, the most important thing: Elten has been legally established in April. The Guide Foundation was established, which radically changed the situation of the project. We started the year with the biggest premiere since version 2.0, the Elten 2.4, which brought so many features that I am sometimes surprised that something was not there before. One of the biggest changes was conferences, which unfortunately turned out to be hundreds of hours of quite wasted time, because they simply did not gain popularity. However, there were many other changes as well, including the UI being turned upside down. There are also premium features which, despite the grumbling, turned out to be, at least for now, an effective source of financing for the project. We had two relatively large updates, labeled 2.4.1 and 2.4.2. We are also testing version 2.4.3, which will be released at the beginning of 2022. As for the social layer, I will share the stats tomorrow as always, but now you can see that Elten is coming to life again. There may not be the enthusiasm of three years ago, but there are many interesting discussions and many users, for which I thank you very much. Groups have not gained popularity yet, but a lot is happening on the recommended forums. Private messages, which have overwhelmed the previous year, are also very popular, which is very surprising at a time when mobile applications reign supreme in private information exchange. The popularity of group conversations has also grown tremendously, another surprise. Unfortunately, blogs are still in retreat. There are fewer and fewer of them, and the content appears less and less. I am afraid that the recovery of this function may be impossible, especially since I still do not understand why such a popular part of the program has faded. Two novelties, namely the board and the likes of the entries, caught on very well. It is true that in both cases the functions are used by a small group of the chosen ones, but on a regular basis. What turned out to be a failure, however, was the invisible interface used by a handful. What do you most associate with the past year? What changes made you happy and what disappointed you? How will you remember him? 1 user likes this post Shoot for the Moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars. 31.12.2021 10:29 1 slash 47

pajper ... Text: So, do we talk about Elten in numbers? :) 1. First, a few words about my severe shock, i.e. private messages. We wrote out 991,135, of which 22,270 messages in group conversations and 31,396 voicemails. Compared to the previous year, this is an overwhelming increase of almost fivefold in terms of (was 205 535). I don't know what happened to you, but keep going! It's also worth mentioning that there are 129 group conversations in which at least 10 messages have been sent this year. 2. Not so drastically, but our forum activity has increased as well. In 2019, we placed 37,473 entries in the recommended groups, in 2020 42,053, this year there were 36 percent more: 57,210, written by 403 unique authors. We also sent a record number of 23,880 mentions. We also spared no likes, giving them a total of 22,609. In total, we commented on 3,215 different threads on the recommended groups. New threads were created in 2017, compared to 1169 in the previous year. In the next post, I will present a summary of the activity on individual groups and individual users. 3. There is nothing to compare with, because the feature was introduced this year, but the board has also become relatively popular. We wrote 5,156 entries on the board and 11,842 replies. 4. There were 21,300 private interviews on Elten last year. 475 users had at least one such call, and at least 10, 210. In total, we spent 1535 days and 22 hours at conferences. 5. Blogging activity is dropping drastically. As I wrote, I do not know and do not understand what happened, but I have the impression that we are witnessing the slow dying of this part of our community. To show it in a broader context: in 2019, 6196 entries appeared on blogs, in 2020 - 3764, and in 2021 - 2687. This is a decrease of 29 percent.

My blog is relatively new and I post there, not often but I do, so I don't buy that they're dying.

I use my blog too to grab my emotions, inner frustrations etc and have had it since Halloween or a little bit earlier, I don't remember.
But yeah, you don't see a lot of new blogs lately.
Although, as my grandmother would say. Less quantity, higher quality.
Although I don't know, I didn't analyze many blogs to affirm it.
Signed by, no one in particular.
