Hey people. Some people may know me, but that isn't the topic, so let's get straight to it. So, you guys sure know that there are not many building games at all. The only ones which arn't clones, are sketchbook, and 3 dimensional your world. To be fully honest i'm not quite sure if any of these building games are the future for me, but i really love map building. And golden crayon had some nice features though, still if not everything was perfect like the game staff problems, and game dramma causers. So, Because i personally wish that this game comes back soon, i've started a vote, with several questions, like which features you liked the most, should gc be hoasted again, and so on. If you wish to participate in this vote, don't hezitate to pm me here on elten. I'll check pm's daily. Also. This will all be quoted into a txt file which i've created. I quote all these answers because this is the prove that i just did not wrote all the text down myself. Thanks.

Well, In my opinion, golden crayon wasn't a good audiogame at all, it was a copy of sketch book your world, some features were taken from survive the wild, and there was not a single new idea in it. I also hated it that you had to use coins for building maps, so you had to play challenge maps first. The only good thing was that there were some really good music tracks which you could use in maps, but that is not enough for me to like it. I also had the problem that it used to crash really often, I had to restard it every ten minutes or something like that. Honestly, I don't miss it.

Ok lets start this off. First of all, Golden crayon was trash and will always be. I'm going to be blunt and strate forward with you all. Tunmi, can not manage a game with out putting his persinall fealings about people away. He's too mintally young to manage something like this. We've seen it. from the short hoasting of air puck, to golden crayon. Constant drama, 90 percent of the player base admins, Constant banning of users based on his feelings, I could go on and on. Not to mintion, He rely's on other people to hoast his games for him on private vps's. You see where that's led him. from the 100 buck deal with patric and seddament. All the way down to laggy ass boxes with 100 other clones on them 24 7. I get it. If you don't have the money to hoast your own vps, I understand. But tunmi is not doing it right. Lets not even get started on the jeneral cloning of SBYW. It was very apparent, from the start of the games development that this thing was a clone. Granted, every once in a wile, He would add features that would sepperate SBYW from GC, But as usuall, SBYW would come back and trash his work. For example. I was the one who prezented tunmi with the idea of URL's on maps. But SBYW took it a step further and made them 3d as you can put the URL in any space you'd like instead of just through out the whole map. I broght this up to tunmi so he could add it, But he said he didn't want because he was, and I qwote, too lazy. Think about that for a minit. Lazy. Come on. and I thought he wanted GC to be the next best thing. Oh. and not only that guys, But tunmi said it him self. SBYW is the better building game. He owns this 13 updates channel on telegram and when he shut down GC, he said that SBYW is better and he should focus on a custum project. Well, hear we are about a year lator, and nope? Nothing new.

Think Conner's post may've been a bit more based on personal feelings about the developer than on the actual game but he's not completely wrong. Tunmi didn't do a great job managing any of his previous projects and I'd say that for that reason it shouldn't be brought back. Especially considering that other people have the server anyways. It'd just get cloned to oblivion. Sketchbook is far better anyways.

well all true. But i kinda am sick of just playing sketchbook. Not that i care much but like, idk what to think about this game how it's been recently, really dunno. Now i'm not so oftain on there like i was but like admins quickly can get drama queens as well there i'd guess. And although it now maybe was a month ago but there also have been a lot of demotions, promotions, ETC. So not sure if this thing even is better. Then they say we don't wanna be similar like other games and boom! Skins and voicepacks are there. How nice! And then comes golden crayon, manamon, crazyparty, all the soundpacks. I kinda think its nonsencical if they wanna not be different. First saying no, not this music because its that game, and then there have been uploaded soundpacks with all sords of sounds from these games? It kinda gets nonsencical. Well i come there time by time but i don't build on there, anymore. When i try to, i actually think why? Have better and more important things to do currently anyway

I came in here to make a few points.

@Marc, I agree with you on allot of the points you made, however I completely disagree with the argument about the soundpacks and the music argument. Soundpacks are made by the community. That has nothing to do with the devs. And the music adds to the creative experience. More music, High quality music that is, makes the game better in my opinion. And that's one thing GC had on sbyw. Golden Crayon had like 150? 140? Music while SBYW had 50 at the time. Its good they're finally closing the gap, and if GC was around SBYW would have surpassed it so hats off to them on that front.

@Conner, I agree with allot of the things you said as well, although I think after Brook then Keri got demoted, banning based on personal feelings happened. Certainly we know the both of them were, questionable, and I'd say worse than myself when it comes to that. As a former admin I'd say things were in a mess. I know people had issue with me at the time but I always tried my best to ensure the staff kept to a controlled level, otherwise a hell of allot more would be going on. I'd also like to say one thing the administration at the behest of tunmi was guilty of, was not banning people based on personal feelings. People like yourself, Keri and other people were the biggest beneficiaries of this. And about airpuck, that was discontinued cuz the community was bugging him about it. He didn't pull the plug on it just cuz he caught a vaps and decided to go axey axey, killey killey.

But to answer the topic at hand, no. I don't think it should come back. At least not publically. Because yes, it is back, however only for Tunmi's close inner-circle. I don't really care about that as that's his business. But at this point nobody credible would admin for him, asside for one or two like Pentaholic maybe, but other than that the community would be fucking toxic, like, more toxic than sbyw, the audiogames forum, all of TT and STW combined toxic. It'll also be a breathing ground for trolls as well.
