Wątek: How to Sell My Ringtones and/or Tracks on the iTunes Store

Hi,

My apologies, if I'm posting this in the wrong thread.
I guess the title summarizes my question already.
I have an overview of the procedures but don't know some of the details, like whether I will have to upload multiple ringtones as an album like multiple songs that are sold as an album together.
And what service to use to distribute my ringtones?

I'd suggest you contact apple about this and explain what you want to do. Maybe somebody there can point you in the right direction.

Or maybe DistroKid?

Found a distributor that suits me well and created an account already. Thanks for the suggestions anyway...
But now I have other questions:
Is the following allowed?
- Reproducing a ringtone and offering it with the same original name on a store or any platform
- Remixing a ringtone and offering it as a remix
- Either using an original ringtone as is, or reproducing it to incorporate into another ringtone that I composed, making the final result sound quite different from the copyrighted ringtone

how do you create your ringtones?

Asking for help or trying to help me? Go ask your question somewhere if the case is the former. There are numerous threads you should have a look at before that one. You can even make a new thread, but not ask this question here.
And if the latter is the case, may I ask how things will differ according to my response?

Enes, what about being kind only once and expressing your frustration somewhere else? He asked a simple question, no need to be that rude. As soon as you'll go into the territory of personal attacks, we'll need to act as necessary.

Create something like a music track or voice recording, and ensure whatever software you're using supports exporting to m4r if it's an iPhone ring tone. If not, you can save it as an mp3, then use a free site such as m4ronline.com to convert it into an m4r file.

Only once? Even to you have I been kind, our dear moderator. But your job could be to warn him for posting in the wrong thread, as you often do, rather than lecturing me on kindness.

iTunes should also do the conversion. You need it to transfer the ringtone to the iPhone already.

I agree with Enes here. What's wrong about asking how to interpret his intention behind this question?

And you directly accuse me of likely attacking him personally and this should make you even less kind as you never asked or guessed my intention, unlike what I did.

I always like to convert manually, then transfer the tone to the iPhone.

Enes: indeed, he went off topic. At the same time, you excessively posted off topic content by lecturing my intentions. When there'll be another time to join our team, feel free to sign up and you'll be able to show your skills. :)

That sure is another method, but can you use any other software to transfer the converted ringtone, or do you still do the transfer with iTunes?

So what? If posting off-topic stuff is your only concern, then you should be concerned about your own posts as well. But your accusations make me think you have other problems for which you blame me.

I just use iTunes. I'm unaware of any accessible third party solutions.
