Wątek: how to split a song to 100 sections if i know where every section starts?

hi all. i have a big 3 hour long audiofile. i want to split it to 100 sections because i want to split it to different songs. and i know names and start times for all songs. how to do this?

When I have such a file I cut it manually into segments. I do this in wave format. Then when I have all the songs separated, I convert them all to mp3. I use GoldWave for that part. I do the first part with Studio Recorder.

reaper:
1. open reaper and cut the files, u can use ctrl j for quick jumping, though change the ruler unit (alt/view/Time unit for ruler
2. when u are on the desired location, press A to split
note: if u have a minute and nerves u can try Dynamic split, just press d on the track
3. when u have all the items separated, select them all, go to action list: (f4) and find:: "Markers: Insert separate regions for each selected item"
4. ctrl+alt+shift+r, regions, list2, ctrl A, shift f10 and close window
5. ctrl+r, change bounds to project region then set all the settings
6. hit render and enjoy, if there'll be any problems, shout.

if I would be you, I think I would create a .cue file and then split. But tisman's way it's also good.
