hello. how to copy a file to ftp from a windows explorer? i cannot do this. it copies, and when i press f5 to update the files, it disappears

hello. if your using win SCP and xplore 2, this should work fine. but i believe this works with the file exploorer for windows as well

Try total commander or filezilla.
It is really simple.
You can use windows explorer for that.

ow i understand now why does it do like this. my free hosting byethost10 is very bad, i would say another word. that's why it doesn't allow large files!

With ByetHost and services based on it, you can only upload files that are up to 10MB in size. You also can't upload files of certain types, such as executable files.

i can maybe deconstruct the executable file to many 10 mb files with an encoder program, and upload them 1by1. and only restriction is: that the only person that can download this file is who has that 1000000 file decoder. or builder. or whatever.

byethost is bad. really. i wanted a free ftp, not a host. and i used it as an ftp, and it is really bad as ftp also. very small capacity of files and storage!
