Hi everyone.
I made this topic to talk about programming languages and stuff related to them.
I like a lot of basic languages, but I want to expand a bit.
I used to use autoit for all my projects, but I'm looking at thin basic.

Hello everyone,

I tried the Python, but it was hard, and I tried the BGT later, but I was lazy.
With when I tried autoit, but someone say that, it isn't accessible something windows (not the operating system).

Best regards,
Tsunami

Hi. Autoit is very accessible, and easy to use scripting language. I also created lots of programs with it. Python is really good, Currently I rewriting my YouTube client in python.

I have looked into bgt, but I didn't want to learn some duplicate and limited language, for simple programs autoit is enough, for more complex things I use pascal and python, also little bit of golang and c++, but don't creating anything with these languages. Also, for creating a web apps and sites java script/jquery/php/sqlite.

When you're stuck, just try harder.

Hi everyone!
That's not about programming but about q/a testing.
Has anybody worked with postman?
I have to work with it now and well...
It is accessible but I cannot get the point how to work with requests/collections...
And of course I am checking the oficial docxs!

Hi everyone. Has anybody have experience in android programming? I'm going to learn it but it seems ten times harder than web or computer programming to me.

Hi.
I did some android programming once, but I used rfo basic.
I'm using python a good bit now.
I spent some time in the linux orld, and made some stuff.
I'm somedwhat good with python, but not to good.
I wrote a talking clock I made for windows a while back in python.
Now I'm back on windows, and most of my linux python stuff works in windows without to much modification.

All my software is written in Python. Also, to those who say AutoIt isn't accessible, if that was the case, NUtils wouldn't exist. Just think about that.

Yep. Python is very good language. I'm writing currently my image describer based on google cloud API or visionbot.ru API mainly in Python, and trying to finish first version of YouTube player also in python. I also created lots of stuff in autoIT which I like too.

C# rocks. There's no better language.

I've heard good things about that language.
I tried c++ once.
I didn't like it much.
Is c# like that or is it easier?

Do not start with C ++ as your irst language. C ++ is like Latin in linguistics: you must know it if you want to be a good liinguist, but you generally learn Spanish or English as the first language.
C# is much easier IMHO

I started my journey with Python when I was studying at school. Now I am completing QA courses and learning Java. When I started to learn Java I started to understand programming mutch mutch better than earlier.
Later I will learn how to work with Selenium in Python, I believe there is no difficulty in it.

really. c# compiles in bytecode, and c++ and rust compiles in processor code

C# can be compiled to machine code too, but it can be a pain in the backside if you don't have the right DotNet stuff. I almost set fire to my hair trying to compile a C# project at college.

Not quite. C# compiles to IL code, not a machine code. Therefore it will never be as efficient as, for example, C++.
On the other hand, it makes this language more
multi-platform.

There are project such as CoreRT (https://github.com/dotnet/corert) which enable you to produce platform-specific executable, but they also shadow-compile the code on startup.

I know about some experimental C# to Assembler compilers, but none I'm aware of is mature enough to use it for a real project.
