I posted a recording on my blog, but it's unfortunately in polish.
My conclusion is that especially uplifting, tech or psy trance has not evolved in any direction. I got used to weekly broadcasts from Above & Beyond, SolarStone or Ben Nicky. <3 Why? Because deep house, progressive or breakbeat is unpredictable. There is always something surprising in those genres.

I am not sure, but it sounds more like early hard trance with some breakbeat taste to it.

Not sure if Infected Mushroom is trance music, but they sound cool to me.
Anything can work. Just decide how much, or what you would like to subject for said thing to work.

I have a playlist with my favourite trance songs on my spotifi, and there are a few by the aforementioned author.
If I'm not mistaken, he's French, and yes, I like his songs, but I like Ahmed Romel's songs even more.
And it doesn't matter if they are his originals or remixes.

Epic Trance itself is not a separate music genre. It's just an uplifting trance track with some orchestral breakdown. Releases from Kelly Andrew or Andy Blueman are a good example.

I love Trance. it's one of my favourite EDM genres. BTW, are there any blind djs/producers in the EDM field?

There is a turkish guy called Makenan who made some trance I believe. Don't know his Sound Cloud sadly, and he doesn't seem to be on elten.
And that, is why you shouldn't do this.
