Presently somewhat like a half of Elten code is rewritten to use Poedit.
Sorry for working on this so long.

Under managing languages in the settings, could there also be put an option which says, "Update Language from the server"?
Thanks.

I already have a ready-made, very preliminary dictionary file for the Polish language.
There are no parameterized patterns etc yet. For now, it's just rewriting current dictionaries on PoEdit, but ... everything in turn.
The whole dictionary is correctly parsed by Elten 2.3, as soon as I finish porting to PoEdit, i.e. by unification of some phrases, addition of parameterized patterns, etc. I will provide tools for translators and release a new beta of Elten 2.3.

I've updated the linked locale with 108 missing messages and will be continuing with looking for missed strings that are not presented in current translations.

Question to translators: is Github a good place for cooperation?
I mean - wouldn't it be a problem for you if we cooperated on translations there?
Great pros of git are the version history, possibility of creating additional branches, merging them etc.

Yes, I think that's ok. I guess, git hub desktop can be used then to get the repository on your hard drive, and commit changes.

Great work! There's just one little drawback from my point of view. Since you told us, I expected the source texts to be like that, with just the parameter in the code, if you see what I mean, but for new translations, it's not as obvious to decide how to translate it.

So, at this time, my work is over.
On GIthub, there was a commit in the poedit_dict branch, the designation:
[poedit_dict f55b066] German and English dictionaries

You will find there converted German and english dictionaries.
Before I continue my work and release a beta version, I would ask for their supplement with missing words, if you have any questions, write to me.

And now a few technical notes:

URL: https://github.com/dawidpieper/elten2/tree/poedit_dict

I would ask you to change the revision date and enter the last translator everytime you work on it, thanks.
Oh, and somehow sign the changes pushed to GIthub. :)
Thank you.

User `monstricek` created russian translation, thank you.
In case anyone else wants to translate Elten to new language to have the translation included in 2.3, just write to me. :)

Ok. Technically, it's fine, but I'd wish the source texts would be more obvious. Since I'm a bit familiar with some of the Polish words, as I heard them so often and figured out what they mean thanks to google translate, I had a jolly good go at translating them, but there are some I'm not familiar with, it's hard to do it. I'd love if the source texts could contain the proper English phrase, not the code declaration

The phylosophy of translating larger projects is to use msgids like that.
Why?
Because original, ie. english translation may change and cause changes in all the chain as a result.

Ah, I see. But I guess I'll need some kind of newby lesson to understand these messages better :D. But I definitely can understand the reason why they are used.
