Hi, Anyone found a way to work with facebook's layout? The comments link has now been replaced by a button. The ability to navigate with headings has been removed. Groups, newsfeeds and other functions are quite close together. I found the whole thing confusing. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Near the top is a link to go back to their basic site. I find I work with both of them now. There are more stories on the standard mobile site but I can deal with deleting people and a few other housekeeping chores on the basic one. I can still comment and do most things on the standard site and I've grown accustomed to its layout.

Use m.facebook.com. The layout is a bit more tricky now, but it's usable, or at least, for me with chrome it is.

I'm using firefox. For me mbasic.facebook.com and the mobile one are quite similar, I mean the way it's now. I found the ability to navigate through headings quite useful especially when it came to getting to a group's posts quickly, or new ones. Without the headings would you tab around?

On posts, at least in my experience, to go from comment to comment I use g for graphic then arrow down and read the comment. There aren't many headings. I defined myself a keystroke to navigate by articles and that has been really helpful in navigating through my news feed.

m.facebook was replaced. Now they managed to synchronise its view that it looks pretty similar in browsers and mobile phones. working version (I mean, older m.facebook) was moved to mbasic.facebook.
But, they stil left mistake. When you enter the group, you can see very strange window with comments, and it's new view of facebook. Now, check addres bar and you will understand why it happened. I mean, when you go into group, you are redirected to m.facebook anyway. and to avoid this anoying view, you have only one solution. Manualy change address to mbasic.

Go to the address bar of your browser and type mbasic.facebook.com

manualy. For example, you went to mobile.facebook.com/somethingsomething.
so, press f4, then with home or arrows go to start of this address. Remove mobile and change it to mbasic. That's all.

Ah I see now, I thought you had to do something, that the web brouser would change the address automatically. I have noticed, that when I go to the basic facebook, then enter on groups, it goes back to facebook.com. I guess I'll have to change the adress everytine I go to groups, or a group.

Yes, just change address by removing mobile and replacing it by mbasic. That's the case. Very anoying at times, but it is how it is :)

The blue messenger chrome extension broke because of this, you can no longer access messages on it.
