The package provides a modified LUA library enabling the code processed to export as source files.
You should investigate why the rake fails, as I cannot provide detailed support for this.
You should begin with analysis of rakefile. If it helps, you can compile LUA directly using Visual Studio.

it actually seams like the lua modified dll is missing frm the thing. I will try to find this one now.

ok, it seams like some non compiled version of the dll is residing in that folder. The entire bin folder is missing which probably also causes the error to happen.

Yes, it is missing, because it should be compiled by rake. It fails on your machine, so you have Visual Studio miss-configured or wrongly installed.

Yeah, i have come to this point now my self, thank you any way. I am now doing what the code does manually from cmd and trying to get where it fails.

apparently the file that makes us problems is C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2019\Community\MSBuild\Microsoft\VC\v160\Microsoft.cpp.default.probs. How ever that problem seams to be pretty commons since when i search for downloading it i only find people having the problem. I will keep trying though.

are we still stuk? I wonder if someone would ever be able to make like a cross platform version of tis. And since it's like 2024 now, as I always say, can we host it now and do what we want with it? Oh well, make a good fediverse blindy client, no more garbage unfree software. Also, why is eltens server code closed? And wheres the 90 year claimed IOS version?

I can get the build to work, I have both vs2019 and vs2022 installed on my machine, but when rake gets around to running Klango it dumps a file called config.lua and then gives a dialog saying it stopped working. All the while the sound is still playing until I click close the program.
This mesage has been approved by x0.

good and bad news! I managed to run rake by copying a folder in the klango3 directory and pasting it in the main repository folder and modifying a filename, but when it loads, it can't connect

I've developed this tool for Ruby 2.x. Unfortunately I cannot just provide the source code as such due to law restrictions.
Please try use last Ruby 2.X version for this. If it fails, I'll try to update the code.
