Just so you know, tracking is something that is available mostly in audiogames only. Sighted players don't have such features. I absolutely agree with the developer's sentiment.

Besides, if you are clever, you don't just blindfire and spam your pistol til it's empty, you stay calm, and see if you can get a shot on your target. Also, communication is key here.
