@18, here's the thing. I agree with you in theory, but for the reasons I listed in post 2, I can't agree with you. You're being unfair and ignoring the facts of the matter as demonstrated by your cherry picking of points to respond to.

K. So you'd not bash anyone like, firegaming with city of devision soon, they have many spelling errors and that thing will sure as heck not cost anything?
Nah, that money argument is trash, you'd bash anyone for it never the less. Look I get it, they're annoying when playing especially if it's a lot but a single person often has to do those projects in their free time and simply can't, set up some big company? Can I expect an 18 year old who's just got their car to drive as well as experienced bus drivers would?
-- (ArcticMoon):
It doesn't matter. A simple person should write as correctly as a company.
Even if a single person writes the whole game, he asks money for it alone. It's not an excuse, sorry.

-- (lolgamer):
Keep in mind that most audio games are made by one person or a small group, while main stream games are made by a company.

You didn't capitalise division. Please learn to write English.

You are really good at making up rules which don't exist. Division itself is neither a whole sentence, nor a name of a person, a place or a nationality. Therefore it's absolutely correct to write the word itself without capitalisation. If it was the first word of a sentence and I continued my thoughts, you would have all the rights to call me out. In this case it's a lost game, I am sorry.
It's so sad those people who actually write horribly don't take it on such a personal level as you. Noone has ever said the user called SirCharlie, or Gaylord on the other forum, (because you took it to your heart there as well), is horrible at grammar and spelling, all of us write in a neutral manner. But well, we are different.

If division is part of a title then it's capitalized.

Well, not trying to defend Arctic Moon but in this case she just corrected the spelling error of marc. Marc spelled it apparently wrong in the name of the title, so Marc shuld've spelled it capital, but I'm not sure if that correction containing a single word should also be written capitaliced.

@27, Nice to see you chose to respond only to the message where you think you could attack me on while ignoring my messages prier. Really transparent. I also didn't understand what you were trying to say with the second half of your message. And yes. Even if it's the only word in a sentence, it still has to be capitalised.

And, it was supposed to be part of a title. So even more reason to capitalize it.

In this case division was just a single word. Yes, you are absolutely right, in City of Division, it should be written with capitalisation. However, if it's a single word without context, it doesn't count as a title. If such a rule existed, we could basically act like germans and write all nouns that way, but it would be ridiculous.

I am sorry but at this point I have no words left. I generally don't think the usual lack of knowledge is because of stupidity and the fact that younger generation in some countries is uneducated as hell, but in the current situation it's straight up seen and there's no excuse. We are inventing new rules which have never existed. Native english people tell their friends the way their mother tongue works in fact, and the most hilarious thing is that we, non-natives, know all this stuff already in our childhood.
I'm not saying everything works great in Europe, especially in Hungary, but it's probably not accidental that most of us don't want to follow your example. I would kill myself if I also had such a mentality.

Shouldn't it have been in quotes then if you wer taking it from Mark's message? Also, yes, it was part of a title, he didn't capitalize it, and neither did you.
Also, Yes. All sentences begin with a capital letter, and end with a punctuation Including one word answers/sentences.
Which, your post did none of, no capital, no end marking.

@32, Can you provide a source that says that single word sentences shouldn't be capitalised? I've spent 15 years educated in an English speaking country and went to a high standard college for 5 of those and in none of that time did I learn that just because you wrote a single word, it isn't necessary to be capitalised. Considering that you classed "juke box" as a spelling error in post one, you may want to consider that your knowledge of English isn't as infalible as you seem to be letting on in this thread. And post 33 is right, it should have also been in quotes.
But the point of me pointing this out is to show that people can make simple mistakes. There are a great deal of strange rules peculiar to English, and it can be difficult to navigate around them, far less for a 12 year old. I mean, look at how recalcitrant you are at being corrected.

City of Division, notice "of" isn't capitalized. That's the way it should be written. Division, in this case, was referring to City of Division, so Division, in this case, should be capitalized. This isn't a made-up rule.

Oh my goodness every language is difficult. English is considered to be a pretty simple one to grasp though, just for your information. It's not accidental it has become the language which basically everyone understands. It has some strange rules, but not worse than all the 18 cases in hungarian. You don't use most of your tenses, yet we, non-natives, learn all of them at school because after a while we have nothing to do, we are simply bored. I've passed the official B2 english exam at the age of 17, learning the language only at school, without any private lessons. My vocabulary became worse with time, as I also speak russian and polish, and I spend more time in those communities. For me, English is a tool, a way to understand people who don't speak any of the languages I'm more comfortable with. Yet I'm not doing awful mistakes, because that would shame me, and only me.

Enyweighs?
Wellp. Sounds like a personal issue we all don't really have to care about. Though if you're that careful as charlie said there's room for improvement regarding your spelling too, madam. It's easy to judge others when you can't take being judged yourself. Makes sense if you don't even get our points, just complain, then?
